Rules & Regulations
GENERAL RULES:
- Be punctual, report to school and class on time.All students are expected to reach school before the morning bell rings.
- Strive to be present every school day and attend all classes.
- Students are expected to be prepared for and to participate in each class room activity. To prepare well for tests and examinations.
- Respect each other at all times. Disagreements will be settled by discussing the problem and seeking the solution that is fair to all concerned.
- Students are to be tidy and neatly dressed in school uniform on all working days and school functions.
- School campus to be kept clean and neat. Do not damage school property. Students who vandalize the school property will make restitution.
- Maintain order when moving on to different areas.
- Students leaving the school campus during school hours, must have student pass and must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
- Students are expected to be honest, behave with dignity .Avoid using abusive or profane language and gestures.
- Leave the premise immediately after school duties are completed.
- Whenever a student violates school rules and shows disregard , school authorities will institute the disciplinary actions that includes counselling.
- Corporal punishment will not be used in the school.
- Students are expected to contribute to a safe school environment free from fear. Acts of violence is never acceptable.
- It is advisable not to bring valuable articles to school. School is not responsible for goods that are lost.
- Mobile phones and any other electronic gadget are not permitted to possess inside the school campus.
- Parents and guardians must not enter the class rooms either to see their ward or to meet the teachers during school hours.
- Parents should meet the teachers on open day to note the progress of their ward.
CLASS ROOM RULES
- Be in your assigned seat/location, when the school bell rings.
- Bring necessary stationary items every day.
- Respect others. Rude gestures, teasing, bullying are prohibited.
- Students should carry their Almanac to school every day.Parents should check it regularly.
- All the text books and note books should be neatly covered and properly labelled.All the belongings of students must bear their name, class and section.
- If the student find difficult to cope with the curriculum, our teachers do provide additional assistance. It is also the responsibility of the parents to ensure that their child puts in their best efforts.
DISCIPLINARY RULES
- Self discipline is the best .it should be preventative rather than punitive.. students will use the means that promote and build good attitudes and respect for others.
- The school reserves the right to suspend or to take strict disciplinary action against a student whose diligence or progress in studies is constantly unsatisfactory, or whose conduct is harmful to other students.
- The students indulging in any misbehaviour directly or online which could be derogatory for the institution or any person will be strictly punished.
- Low waist trousers are not permitted. Strict action will be taken against uniform defaulters.
ABSENCE RULES
- Attendance on the first and last working day of every term is compulsory.
- Parents should submit the leave letter to the class teacher for absence upto 2 days. If the student is absent from the school for a longer period, a leave application addressed to the principal, is to be submitted along with medical certificate.
- Frequent absence without leave or unexplained absence for long duration renders the student liable to have his/her name struck off the rolls.
- Re- admission may be granted at the discretion of the school authority.
- Students suffering from the contagious diseases like chicken pox, measles and mumps, conjunctivitis must observe the mandatory quarantine period before returning to school.
- It is compulsory for every student to complete atleast 75% of the attendance in the academic session, to make them eligible for the final examination and also for promotion to the next class.
